Opening Reception
AACD traditionally pulls out all the stops to
kick off our Annual Scientific Session in
grand
fashion. Delectable cuisine, lively entertainment
and AACD’s legendary camaraderie help bring
the event to life, which is always set to an
incredible backdrop. In Atlanta, the backdrop
itself will take center stage, as the Academy
takes over the spectacular new Georgia
Aquarium!
Holding over 8 million gallons of water and
featuring more than 100,000 animals from
around the globe, the Georgia Aquarium is the
world’s largest indoor aquarium and the newest
jewel in Atlanta’s tourism crown. The incredible
facility allows guests to witness whales, sharks,
sea turtles and various other marine life in
habitats that mirror the deep blue sea.
Themed ‘Margaritaville,’ AACD’s Opening
Reception at Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry
2007 will allow conference attendees to enjoy
a Caribbean band, tropical dishes and the
company of their Academy friends at the
Georgia Aquarium, which will only be open
exclusively to AACD guests during the soiree.
