In order to enhance your learning experience, AACD has expanded our Educational Tracks program to help guide you on your path to excellence in cosmetic dentistry.
Tracks include:
Modern Esthetics
Geared for all dental professionals interested in developing or improving their foundational "core knowledge" to achieve “Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry”. This track covers everything from the most current and accepted cosmetic dental techniques to occlusion, clinical procedures and the most modern materials.
Complex Esthetics
This track emphasizes complex and interdisciplinary cases utilizing advanced techniques for achieving predictable, long-lasting esthetic results. Courses will focus on comprehensive case building, occlusion and science-based presentations related to cosmetic dentistry and new technology.
Laboratory Advancements
This track focuses on communication, photography, shade matching and
new technology as it relates to all ceramic restorations. Included are
courses that showcase high profile Doctor/Ceramist teams as well as
courses for ceramists interested in pursuing accreditation in the AACD.
These courses will provide valuable content for ceramists and dentists alike.
Esthetic Team
Geared for dental team members and their doctors, these courses provide up-to-date information for developing the ultimate cosmetic practice. Subjects range from improving customer service skills and business systems, to modern management concepts, advertising, leadership skills and team motivation.
Hygiene
The role of the dental hygienist has expanded in the modern cosmetic dental practice. Courses are designed to dissect the most crucial elements when integrating hygiene and cosmetic dental care. We also guide our attendees to the most relevant perio/restorative courses to stimulate more interaction with their dentist counter parts.
Accreditation Essentials
Are you ready to commit your practice to “Excellence in cosmetic dentistry”? If so, begin pursuit of Accreditation in AACD. Courses include the importance of case selection, tissue management, laboratory communication and photography. The goal is to provide information on procedures and techniques to help prepare you for your journey. This year we are also featuring hands-on workshops to help you move closer to your goal of becoming an Accredited Member!
